Adi Varaha Swamy Temple at Tirumala ( Places to see at Tirumala-2)

According to legend, Tirumala was originally the Adi Varahakshetra (place belonging to Sri Adi Varahaswami).
Lord Sri Venkateshwara took up residence here, with the permission of Sri Varahaswami.
According to the Brahma Purana, pilgrims should first offer naivedyam to Sri Adi Varaha Swami, before visiting the Sri Venkateswara Temple.

As such it is imperative that one should have  firstVaraha swamy darshan then only Lord venkateswara Swamy.
The idol of Sri Varahaswami in Tirumala is that of Adi Varaha, as it resembles the description of the Adi Varaha Murti in Vaikhanasa Agama textsThe famous temple of Sri Varahaswami in Tirumala is to the north of the Sri Venkateshwara temple, on thebanks of Swami Pushkarini.
Thos is most important place to Tour on Tirumala.
