Saina Nehawal won Bronze Medal in 2012 London Olympics., whereas her contest ended in semifinals in Bejing Olympics in 2008 Bejing Olympics.. She was winner in so many tournaments in her career and carries lots of experience.
In 2015, Saina Nehawal won Silver Medal in World Championships in Jakarta.and In 2016, in Asian Championship in Wahun (Bronze Medal).
She lived in Hissar and shifted to Hyderabad at the age of 5 Years.
Her parents were state level Badminton players for Haryana.
She had her coaching at Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy at Hyderabad.
With her experience , versatality and improvements in the game, Medal is expected from her in Rio Olympics 2016.
She has won number of Awards from Govt of India which included Padma Sri, Padma Bhushan,Arjun Award and Rajiv Khel Ratna Award.
She is also great inspiration and role model to her team mates.

Saina Nehawal exited from Rio olympics 2016 as she was nursing Knee injury effecting her performance.The injury occured during pre olympic training and got aggravated during olympics restricting her leg movement in the olympics.
If knee injury has not come in her way, she would have got a medal in olympics.
