Ardh Kumbh Mela

The much awaited, largest cultural festival Kumbh Mela unfolds on 15 Jan, 2019 and ends on 4th March 2019 the Shivaratri day.
Prayagraj Kumbh Mela which is celebrated once in 6 years.
Around 12 crores pilgrims are expected for holy dip (kumbh mela).
The first Royal Bath SHAHI SNAN takes place on 15th Jan at the confluence /sang am of Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati Rivers.
Those who take dip in Triveni sangam get the benefit of circumventing the earth consisting of punya Theerthas.
All kinds of  sadhus and Sanyasis wait for this day for the Holy Dip.
