The Highest waterfall in Telangana ,KUNTALA WATERFALL is in
Kuntala , Adilabad District on the River Kuntala . with a height of 45 meters(147 feet) in Telangana state , India
It is believed that Shakuntala, King Dushyanth; fallen in love with each other at this spectacularly beautuful place.
This waterfall can be reached through
Nirmal from thereon Ghat road to Neradigonda
village. From this village 12 Kilometers to reach the falls. There is a commutable road to the entry point of Falls,from
where ten minitues walk where steps are available
Mansoon and post monsoon are best times for
visit to kuntala .i.e., July to December . It is dangerous to get into water at
the bottom when the water flow is high due to sharp rocks and twists.
The water fall comes down in two steps.

Vehicles and Govt Transport is available till Nerikonda and from there
private vehicles. Taxis can be hired from Adilabad/Nirmal or autos from
Nerikonda Village by Tourists.
