The undavalli caves  are located 6km from  Vijayawada on Vijayawada Amaravathi Road, near to Prakasam Barrage. 
Amaravathi the new capital of Andhra Pradesh State is 33 kms from Undavalli Caves.

Undavalli caves are associated with the Vishnukunda Kings 420 AD to 620 AD. The caves are dedicated to Anantha Padmanabha swami and Narasimha Swamy.
The Carving was made out of solid sandstone on a Hillside in the 4th and 5th centuries. A.D.There are several caves.The main attraction of this cave is gigantic statue of Lord Vishnu, Located on the Second Floor, which is about  5 meters long and is carved of a single block of Granite Rock.
The caves also hoard numerous shrines . Shines dedicated to Trimuthi ---Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswar. The caves are example of primitive rock-cut monastery and Gupta Architecture.In the First Floor , we can see Buddhist  monastery and 1st floor  retains style of Buddhist  Sculptures.

The caves are  located in the Undavalli village in Tadepalli Mandal  in Guntur Districtin Andhra Pradesh, India, located on the banks of Krishna River,  are Example of Indian  Rock-cut architecture.
The skill and workmanship of the Craftsman  can be be understood  from the sculptures displayed on the walls.
In Rock-cut architecture in addition to making small statues from Rock,.Sculpting of 4 Storied building in single Rock is great and wonderful work which requires, worksmanship, patience and dedication.

Indian rock-cut architecture is truly a wonder of all times.

The Virupaksha Temple is one of the important destinations in India.

The Virupaksha temple is located at Hampi, in Bellary District Of Karnataka State.

a.      The Virupaksha Temple in Hampi, Karnataka is noted for its architecture and has been listed among  the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES.

b.   Hampi Sits on the banks of Thungabhadra River .

c.      Virupaksha is an avatar of Lord Shiva  , Pampa is the godess at the temple.
d.       It was originally small shrine constructed in 7th century.

e.      Even though it was small temple , major part of the temple was constructed during Vijayanagar Rulers time.

f.      The temple has been so constructed that the River Thungabhadra  flows along its terrace, descends to the temple kitchen and passes through the outer court.

g.        It is  believed that this temple has been functioning uninterruptedly ever since its inception in the 7th century AD.  That makes this one of the oldest functioning temples in India.

h.       Over the centuries the temple gradually expanded into a sprawling complex with many sub shrines, pillared halls, flag posts, lamp posts, towered gateways and even a large temple kitchen.

This east facing giant tower (Gopura) leads you the first courtyard of the temple complex. This pastel painted 9 storied tower with a pair of cow horn like projections on top is the most prominent landmark in Hampi. The lower two tiers of the tower is made of decorated stone work.


The temple continues to prosper and attracts huge crowds for the betrothal and marriage festivities of Virupaksha and Pampa in December.

The Virupaksha Temple is located in Hampi which is about 350 km from Bangalore 13 km fom Hospet Railway station. The nearest Airport is Bellary.

Talakona water falls is tallest water falls in Andhra Pradesh with a height of 270 Feet.
It is situated 49kms from Tirupati. 210 km from Chennai and 240 Km from Bangalore'
It is near Bakarapet.

The waterfalls are placed amidst dense forest surrounded by natural beauty and greenery. It is believed that the water of Talakona Falls is enriched with herbs wit healing powers.

In Telugu Tala means Head and Kona means Hill. which speaks about the height.

Talakona siddeswara swamy temple is very famous and attracts large number of devotees.

The falls are 2km from Siddeswra Swamy Temple.

October to January is the best season to visit. There are several private transport facilities to Talakona Falls from Bakarapeta, which has direct bus services from Tirupati and Chittoor.

Chakra Theertham is pond located next to Silathoranam at Tirumala Hills.
A legend says a devotee by name Padmanabha a devootee observed Tapas for 12 years to save people from Rakshasa (Demon). Sri Venkateswara swamy sent HIS  Sudarshana Chakra to kill Demon,In the process the Theertham was created.
Visiting this site is considered as good as touching the Lotus Feet of the Lord, which will deliver the devotees from their travails.

Chakratheertahm is 2 Kms from Tirumala Bus Stand.

As per the scripts, Lord Pushkara is the son of Lord Varuna. Pushkar prayed Lord Brahma and acquired a boon to live in sacred waters to purify them.He also prayed Lord Shiva and attain 'Jala Tattva Siddhi'( Physics of waters) and became king of all sacred waters and named as 'Theerdhapalaka' (Ruler of Sacred waters).
 Later to this Lord Jupiter prayed Lord Brahma to keep Pushkara along with him but, Pushkar refused  and Lord Brahma resolved conflict by requesting pushkar to stay with Jupiter for 24 days(12 days at beginning + 12 days at ending)  when Lord Jupiter enters each Zodiac Sign. Based on the planet Jupiter movement in Zodiac sign Lord Pushkar enters 12 sacred rivers in India.

Depending on Jupiter movement in Zodiac signs, sacred rivers get energies and nourishes the place.

Jupiter in Aries river Ganga gets Pushkara.
In Taurus      - Narmada River.
In Gemini      - Saraswathi River.
In Cancer      - Yamuna River.
In Leo            - Godavri River.
In Virgo          - Krishna River.
In Libra          - Kaveri River.

Pushakara takes places, depending upon the travel of Jupiter to a particular sign. Each river has its own zodiac sign, Whenever Jupiter enters particular sign, pushkara takes place for that river.

Pushkara Lasts for One Year., as long as, Jupiter remains in particular sign, Pusharas take place for that river.
