Birla
Mandir is the temple of Lord Balaji the
incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Kaliyug. The temple was constructed with 200
Tonnes of pure Rajastahani Marble.
The
Birla Mandir was constructed in 1976 spanning 10 Years. The architecture
is blend of south Indian,Utkal and Rajasthani style. The temple inside is
replica of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.
The
granite image of the presiding deity in the Birla Mandir at Hyderabad is about
11 feet tall. There is a carved lotus that serves as an umbrella to the presiding
deity
The other deities in
the temple include Padmavathi, Andal, Ganesh and Sri Sai Baba.
The
temple was built in 280 Ft high Navbath Pahad which is located south of
Hussainsagar, Tank Bund, Lumbini Park.the famous sites of Hyderabad.
The monolith Buddha Statue,which is situated in the midist of Hussainsagar, is visible from Birla Mandir.

serene , cool, and white marble Temple gives lots of peace to mind. We can have a view of some of
the sculpted scenes from the great epics of Ramayana and Mahabharatha in marble
in the temple premises.
It
was constructed under the supervision of
Swamy Ranganatha Swamy of Ramakrishna Mutt.
Birla Mandir temple timings: 7AM to 12PM and 3PM to 9PM Open on all 7days of week.
